Is There a Money Cheat?
There is No Money Cheat
Unfortunately, there is no cheat code in GTA 5 to get infinite money. You'll have to earn money the hard way by completing missions such as Lester's Assassination Missions and robbing armored vehicles. That said, there's a cheat code for pretty much anything else your heart could desire--which, coincidentally, will make earning money that much easier!

How to Enter Cheats
How to Enter on PS4, PS5
There are two methods to entering cheat codes on the PS4 and PS5.
- The first method requires a series of button presses entered rapidly on the controller.
- The second method is to enter cheat codes via the characters' in-game cellphone. Press Up to pull up your phone, select Contacts, then go to the dialpad by pressing Square. From here, enter the cheat code starting with 1-999.
How to Enter on PC
There are two methods to entering cheat codes on PC.
- The first method is to enter cheat codes in the console using the ~ key. Cheats are not case sensitive.
- The second method is to enter cheat codes via the characters' in-game cellphone. Press Up to access the phone. Press Enter/Left Click on Contacts, then press Space/Middle Click to access the numpad. Navigate the numpad using Enter and the arrow keys or the scroll wheel and Left Click. Press Space/Middle Click to activate the cheat
Cheat Codes Disable Trophies/Achievements
Note that entering cheat codes will temporarily disable the ability to earn trophies or achievements for that session, so use codes at your own risk. To start earning trophies or achievements again, simply turn off all cheats you've activated.
Deactivate Cheats by Dying, Restarting Game, or Re-entering Cheat Code
You can deactivate any cheats you've entered by dying, restarting the game or console, or by re-entering the specific cheat code again. Trophies and achievements are temporarily unavailable while any cheat codes are active, so it's recommended that you turn off all cheats while progressing the main and side missions. For extra precaution, consider creating a separate save file (with autosave turned off) dedicated to playing around with cheat codes so as not to interfere with game progress on your main save!
