Is there a 1E or 1C error message on the display of your Samsung washing machine? There's a problem with the water level sensor. This means that the water pressure or water level isn't correct. First check whether the washing machine is properly connected to the water supply. The supply hose may be clogged or kinked. When this is the case, remove the kink. Sometimes it can help to turn the machine off and on again.

With a 3E or 3C error message, the motor doesn't work. First check whether the socket works. Switch off your washing machine and remove the connector. Test whether a different device can receive power. Another cause for the malfunction may be that the drum is too full. Remove some laundry from the drum, start the cycle again and see if the error message disappears. Doesn't this help? Unplug the washing machine for 30 minutes. Then connect it again and see if the error code is gone.

The 4E or 4C Error message indicates that there is a problem with the water supply. This means that no or too little water enters the drum. Check whether the water supply is fully open and that the supply hose is properly attached. Test whether the faucet in your bathroom or kitchen works. If not, there's s low water pressure and you have to wait a while. Check whether there's a blockage or kink in the supply hose. In extreme cases, the water pipe may be frozen, for example when your washing machine is in the shed.

In case of a 5E, 5C, E2, or SE error, the water can't drain. There are various reasons for this. The drain may be blocked or there may be a kink in the hose. Just to be sure, put a towel down when you open this flap to clean it. Is your washing machine in the shed? If so, it's possible that the drain hose is frozen.

Does the HE, HC or CE error code appear? If so, there is an error with the washing temperature sensor. This happens when the water temperature in the drain is higher than 50˚C. Turn off the washing machine and remove it from the power for 30 minutes. Reconnect the device and see if the error code goes away. With this problem it may also be that you get the error code rE1, 4E2, H1, 4C2 or E8. This differs per model.

The spin cycle doesn't work when error code UE, E4, or Ub appears. Possibly the washing machine isn't well balanced. Ensure that the washing machine is on a flat, stable floor. It's also important that the drum isn't too full. When filling the drum there must always be room for 1 fist. Finally, check whether the laundry is evenly distributed. Is your laundry mainly on one side of the drum? Redistribute this.
